General Pack
The Fate's Challengers, often referred to as FC or the Challengers, is a pack who refuses outside beliefs. They refuse the thought outside forces are influencing that of their pack and try to influence those that live with them to leave their beliefs behind. This is to bring them closer together, bring reliance on eachother as pack members than on some wish or hope that spirits hear them. They believe souls who die are reborn at some point, to continue their stories and influence upon their lands. The founder herself, Juniper, believes that belief in the determined fates is an insult to those she has known and those she lives with, and as such has banned such practices from her pack outside burials. Due to this some packs have thought them to be ignorant savages or exceptionally rude towards their beliefs.

Territory
Juniper had once tried to journey outside the city to found her new family- but to no avail. The outside world was unfamiliar, unsafe, and untrustworthy to her and as such she believed it not suitable for her to start her pack. Instead she chose to look within the city- walking past rats and through the destruction that had engulfed her home. Although during her travels she met other dogs- those whos homes were in similar states. Together they searched and finally found their secured home- an in tact alley which lead to a fenced area- one which it seemed the longpaws were building something new. As the building had stopped, the land was theirs for the taking. Over the course of a month the dogs had dug entrances, defenses, and dens- had gathered supplies and learned the layout of the area so well they could find it without their eyes or nose. it has boxes with tarps, blankets and pillows, bones and chews, among other things to keep those inside entertained and safe. With the introduction of new prey to their home as well, the previously desolate city and new territory would thrive- with this camp at the heart of it. This is their haven.

Prior to the founding of FC, Juniper had been friends with a leashed dog by the name of Fate. Both Juniper and Fate were once leashed dogs, with Fate having escaped and traveled long and far throughout her life. Juniper heard stories from her of the great edges of the world, places where one could be unafraid and free. Fate no longer had the energy or spirit to travel on her own, but spoke of Juniper's potential as a stray- her young body and spirit could guide her to somewhere special as it once did her. Once the great bark came and ravaged the homes of many in her city, Juniper thought to honor Fate's memory in becoming a great leader, a stray. She would find her destiny within the ruins of her own city.
Juniper searched within the city, the once bustling landscape now desolate and grieving the loss of its inhabitants. Her wandering brought her soul to life, her instincts starting to clear as she continued her journey. Although the city was not of toppling skyscrapers, of fearless metal beasts meant to carry the longpaws and their kin, it used to be evolving to get such a way. However patches of nature were left in the absence of those changing it. Shortly outside the city was long fields and forests- while inside the city were fenced capsules of relaxing greenery. It only took a few months for the green of nature to begin flowing through the city- for scraps in bins to become rotten and starting new life. A few months and the asphalt cracked with digging roots, in moved smaller creatures which allowed Juniper to test her hunting senses. Juniper still held memories within the place she lived, and as such claimed it as her home, her territory- though not all of it was able for her to claim. She promised to defend it from intruders as she gathered fellow dogs living there to join her in this protection.
